Annual Events in Mountain View

It seems like a nice idea to have a list of annual events that happen in our city. It would come in handy when we plan our vacations and when visitors stop by for a few days. Please feel free to let me know about any other public events that happen every year that I might have missed. this is a really great addition and now i can point people in this direction when they want to know all about events in this area…thank you Heidi for a job well done.
There are two Portuguese lodges in Mtn. View that have “festas” each year which include a parade from their lodge to St. Joseph’s Church as well as a fabulous meal called “sopas”. These festas happen around Pentecost and all are welcome, but it’s hard to find information on the specific dates. Maybe you’ll have better luck. Yet, another example of the tremendous ethnic diversity that makes Mountain View such an amazing city.
Thanks for putting this list together. It is very helpful. Mountain View is a happening place with activities for families and singles. A good place to live.
