David's right! The newest part of the trail goes over Moffett! We don't have to wait on the street at the light anymore! I love that over-crossing!

I was living in Sunnyvale, pretty close to Mountain View and this was a great trail to bike or just take a relaxing walk. Great view of the bay! Wish the new extension it is even safer: no crossing Moffet ;^), and longer if you want... You can also go all the way to Palo Alto Airport! Just check it out!

Riding your bike or walking the Stevens Creek Trial will give you a whole new perspective of the area!! No kidding!! And did you know that very close by the newest extension there is the one and only wooden sidewalk in Mtn. View? Yup, its on El Camino just before the exit to 85 (and near the mobile home park). Check it out.

I have to admit that I was one of those living in a cave for about a decade in MV. When I finally "discovered" the SC Trail I could't believe how well hidden it is. When you are on it you hardly know where in the city you are and it makes you feel like you are out in the woods! Get on the trail and you will discover things about MV that will surprise you!

I really like the Stevens Creek Trail. Parking at La Avenida or the next one closer to Shoreline is great, especially for younger kids on bikes. The whole family can easily bike into the Shoreline reserve; rest and enjoy the lake; have a picnic and bike back.
