Posh Crepes
Everyone knows that Posh Bagel has an amazing array of bagels, as would be expected from a bagel shop, but did you know about their crepe menu? I’ve seen several people on Facebook mention their crepes, as many of my Facebook friends tend to talk about what they’ve recently eaten.
So I went to Posh Bagel for lunch today with a girlfriend. It’s true—they have an impressive crepe menu. They offer a total of 19 different types of crepe, both savory and sweet. I asked which one is the most popular and I was told that the Strawberry and Cream was probably the most requested. That’s what I had to order, if that’s what everyone else was having.
It was not at all overly sweet. It was perfect with fresh, firm strawberries and just a touch of whipped cream. Next time I go I’ll try the Turkey Pesto or the Italian crepe. I’m pretty sure I won’t be disappointed.
Up until now, I didn’t really know of anyplace in Mountain View that served crepes. I always looked forward to the 2 art festivals because one of the food vendors is a really friendly crepe lady. That’s what I call her, “the crepe lady.” One festival is in May and the other is in September, so I could only treat myself twice a year. I’m pleased to discover Posh crepes. I’m disappointed that it took me this long to figure it out. They have been serving crepes for about 5 years. I’m usually on top of things better than this.
Posh Bagel is a local business that has been in Mountain View for 12 years. Next time you stop by for a toasted “everything” bagel with cream cheese, take a look at the crepe menu and try something different for a change. I love Mountain View and I crepes.

My kids and I have made it a tradition to eat crepes before our Sunday bike ride. The nutty strawberry crepes are our favorite.
