Taqueria Tres Hermanos
I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant. I recently read on Facebook that “Taqueria Tres Hermanos” had the best ceviche anywhere! I questioned this statement and was told that not only should I order the ceviche, but the caldo de pollo (chicken soup) as well. I’m happy to report that, once again, the advice that I received on Facebook was accurate. I went to Taqueria Tres Hermanos for lunch today with a friend and I’m sure I’ll be a regular customer. I ordered the ceviche and the chicken soup and it was way too much food for one person, but I was happy and my friend ordered Enchilada Rojos and she was just as happy as me. She kept saying, “Every bite is better than the bite before” as she took another bite. While we enjoyed our lunch, we watched “BandaMax” along with everyone else in the restaurant. I must admit that I had never really been given the opportunity to enjoy Mexican music videos of scantily clad women dancing around. It added to the atmosphere and made the place seem even more authentic.
I like that there was plenty of parking, the service was friendly and all of the tables were clean. I noticed that several of the other customers were getting their orders to go and I’ll probably be doing that next time. I’m always looking for awesome restaurants that have easy parking so I can grab dinner on the way home in the evening. This place is perfect. We all know how difficult parking can be in some parts of our incredibly popular city, so anyplace that has a big parking lot at the front door gets extra points.
My friend’s food came out of the kitchen first and I took a photo of it, but I was too excited to remember to take more photos when mine came out and I just started eating. So I don’t have a picture of the chicken soup or the ceviche, but they were the whole reason that I went to Taqueria Tres Hermanos. I’ll be back and I just love Mountain View.
