Lindell Chiropractic

Tuesday, 01 Jun 2010

Last week I went to see a chiropractor here in Mountain View and thought that it seemed like the kind of thing I should share with everyone. Dr. Kerry Lindell of Lindell Chiropractic grew up in this area and lives just down the street from her office. Somehow, it makes me feel really good to do business with someone who is local.

She has been a team chiropractor for several local sports teams, including a semi pro mens soccer team and a volleyball team. She told me that her patients include quite a few children. People tend to think that children are made of rubber and that they bounce, but the truth is that after numerous little falls from bicycles and the monkey bars, kids may be in need of chiropractic care.

I had already decided that I would be going back to Dr. Lindell on a regular basis, but then she told me about her practice being “Green Certified” and I was totally sold. How cool is that? She attended the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce “Green Business University” and has already been inspected. Soon she will have the Bay Area Green Business sticker on her front door. I asked what exactly had to change for her business to become certified. She pointed out that all the lighting had to change, her toilet had to be low-flow, she has to have a recycling program in place and she has to use recycled paper and print on both sides.

Her office is one big friendly open space and the walls have really nice whimsical graphics painted on them. It seemed very different from what I expected. I had the usual sterile environment in mind, but was pleasantly surprised. I’ve always been interested in the building that her practice is in. It’s on El Monte and the exterior reminds me of a wild west movie.

I think I’ll be in good hands with Dr. Lindell and I love the fact that she is as committed to the environment as she is to caring for my spine.

  1. I took my teenage son to Dr. Lindell, as his back was hurting. My son was very happy with her care and that she was able to find the source of his pain and fix the problem. Thanks so much, Dr. Lindell!

  2. Dr. Lindell is FABULOUS. Sweet as can be and very professional. You can tell that she loves what she does and she is very good at it.

  3. Thanks for the tip Jenn. He sounds like another caring chiropractor that the community would want to know about.

  4. I personally go to Dr. Michael Dominguez of Vik Chiropractic on the corner of El Camino and Mountain View Ave. He is wonderful and takes the time before every appointment to check in on how I am doing both mentally and physically. I HIGHLY recommend him and his collegue, Dr. Patrick, to anyone.

  5. I went to see Dr. Lindell a couple of months ago after an old injury started to flare up and I couldn’t ignore it anymore. The first thing she did was to talk to me and watch me walk and bend and move. She wanted to do x-rays (which she can do right in her office, in a protected room) in case there was something more serious going on, as well as to be able to get a before and after. Aside from being pretty crooked from the base of my skull to my upper back, I was ready for an adjustment. I hadn’t been manually adjusted before, so laughed out loud when I heard my body crunch! It didn’t hurt, I was just totally surprised. Dr. Lindell really knows what she’s doing and relieved quite a bit of pain. I am delighted to have found her!

  6. Dr Lindell is awesome! I’ve been going to her for a few months now. My back is feeling much better as as a result. I feel good knowing that she’s been doing chiropractic work for over 10 years. Experience is not something to take lightly when choosing a chiropractor.

The office is atypical from what you might expect but I enjoy the open and welcoming atmosphere and the fact that it’s a green certified business.
